Ham&Cheese Stuffed Chicken Fillets

Ingredients
  • 8 Grill sticks
  • For Stuffing
  • 1 kg Chicken fillets ((Usually 8 pieces for 4 servings))
  • 8 Ham slices
  • 240 g Mozzarella cheese ((grated))
  • 8 tbsp Tomato purée
  • For Covering Mix
  • 200 g Parmesan cheese
  • 5 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 3 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Thyme
  • 4 Eggs
Instructions
  1. Before starting, make the fillets thinner by using the meat pounder and lay them on the counter as their insides facing the ceiling.
  2. For Stuffing
  3. Pour one tablespoon of tomato purée on each fillet but only cover one half of the fillets.
  4. On top of the purée, put one slice of ham and 80 grams of grated mozzarella for each fillet.
  5. Fold the free half on top of the stuffings and put the grill stick through the fillet to keep it closed.
  6. For Covering
  7. Grate the parmesan cheese and mix it with the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and thyme in a large bowl.
  8. Break the eggs in bowl and scramble them.
  9. Start covering the stuffed fillets with scrambled eggs, then proceed with the covering mix we prepared beforehand.
  10. Place them evenly on the baking tray while preheating the oven at 180℃.
  11. Cook them in the oven for 30 minutes. (Preferably with the fan on)
