Oven Fried Chicken Chops

As tasty as a deep fried chicken but as healthy as a healthy oven baked meal! Happy cooking!

Ingredients
  • 400 g Chicken chops
  • For Sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 8 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 2 tsp Mint
  • 1 Clove of garlic (Crushed)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • For Covering
  • 6 tbsp Flour
  • 4 tbsp Corn starch
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 4 tsp Paprika
  • 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
Instructions
    For Sauce
  1. Mix the olive oil, soy sauce, crushed garlic, spices and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add the egg on top and mix it with a whisk.
  3. For Covering
  4. Mix flour, starch, paprika and salt in a deep plate.
  5. For Chops
  6. Dip and cover the chop with the first mixture you prepared.
  7. After that, transfer the chop into the covering plate and cover the chop with the second mixture you prepared.
  8. Repeat this process for all the chops.
  9. Place the chops on an oven tray which you covered with baking paper.
  10. Pour one tablespoon of vegetable oil on each chop and cover both sides of the chops with this oil slowly. (You can use an egg brush or your fingertips.)
  11. Preheat the oven at 190°C. (fan mode on)
  12. Bake the chops for 35 minutes, then you can bake the same way for 5 more minutes or if your oven has grill function you can turn it on for 5 minutes.
