Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce

Instructions

Pour the oil on a deep pan and heat it up. Grate the onion and place it on the pan when the oil is ready. Fry it until it gets a pinkish color. Then add the meat and stir it often until it becomes dark brown in color. Pinch off pieces from the bay leaf and sprinkle on the meat.

When the meat is ready, add the tomato purée, spices and salt into the pan. Close it with the lid.( but leave a little open space for the air to go out) Cook it with medium heat for 30 minutes, stir it often.

10 minutes before the sauce gets ready, put the spaghetti and salt into a big pot with boiling water inside. Boil it for exactly 9 minutes. (Al dente)

Pour the pasta into a pasta strainer. Transfer the pasta into the sauce pan and mix it with the sauce.

You can serve it with grated parmesan and basil leaves for garniture.
