  • 200 ml Coffee (Espresso or filter)
  • 100 g Lady fingers
  • For Covering
  • 4 tsp Cocoa powder
Instructions
  1. Place the sugar, flour and starch in a large pot.
  2. Add the milk slowly while stirring. Then turn on the burner and start cooking. (medium heat)
  3. Keep stirring for a couple of minutes, then add the egg yolk and keep stirring.
  4. When it starts to boil, cook for 5 more minutes and leave it on the counter to cool down. (You can also transfer it to another container so that it cools down faster.)
  5. When it cools down(usually in 15-20 minutes), add the whipped cream powder, cold milk and vanilla sugar on top.
  6. Then whip it with the electric whisk for 5 minutes.
  7. Wrap up the mixture and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes to harden.
  8. Then take the cream out. Prepare your dessert cups or water glasses, whichever container you wish.
  9. Cut the lady fingers in half. Pour the coffee in a large plate. Dip the ladyfingers into the coffee one by one.
  10. Dip each face only a second, try to be quick or they will disintegrate.
  11. Place 2 dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of each cup.
  12. Then pour half a scoop of the cream in each cup. Then place 2 more ladyfingers on top of the cream.
  13. You can leave it like this or repeat the same process one more time if you have extra ingredients left.
  14. Sprinkle one teaspoon of cocoa powder on top of each cup with the help of a small colander.
  15. Wray up the cups and leave them in the fridge at least for an hour before serving them.
  16. Bon appetit!
