Ingredients
For the Cookie Dough

For the Syrup

Orange juice
(Freshly squeezed)

Instructions
Preparing the Syrup

Pour the orange juice and granulated sugar into a pot. Heat them up until the mixture boils. Let it boil for 10 minutes while you keep stirring occasionally.

Place the pot on the counter to cool down while you start preparing the dough.
Making the Dough

Grate the orange peel.

Mix the eggs, butter (melted and cooled down), vanillin sugar, baking powder, powdered sugar, orange peel and vegetable oil inside a large bowl.

Add the flour on top and knead until the dough is uniformly mixed.

Pinch small pieces from the dough and roll them into ball shapes between your palms.

Place the rolled dough pieces onto an oven tray which was covered with a sheet of baking paper.

Preheat the oven at 180℃ (350℉), do not use the fan mode.

Bake the cookies in the oven for 20 minutes.

After baked, leave them on the counter to lose the initial heat for only a minute.

Dip the warm cookies into the syrup which is cooled down, let each of the cookies to soak the syrup for at least 5 seconds. Don't forget to flip them in the syrup so that every side is soaked uniformly.

Place them on a serving plate and let them cool down for 10 minutes.
