Oven Baked Buttery Potato Slices

Ingredients
  • 6 Potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Butter (Melted)
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Mint (Dried)
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 pinch Thyme (Dried)
Instructions
  1. Peel and slice the potatoes. The circular slices should be 2-3 mm thick.
  2. Place the slices into a large bowl, add salt and olive oil on top. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Mix the butter, black pepper, garlic, thyme and mint in a separate bowl.
  4. Arrange the potato slices vertically and loosely in a circular oven tray.
  5. Spread the butter and spice mixture on top of the arranged potato slices with the help of an egg brush.
  6. Preheat the oven at 190℃ (fan mode on).
  7. Cover the oven tray with aluminium foil and place it into the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for 10 more minutes. This way the tops of the potato slices will turn golden brown.
