For Meat
- Pour the olive oil into a deep pan. Start heating the pan up.
- Add the minced meat, chopped onions and cut bay leaf into the pan.
- Cook in high temperature while stirring until meat changes color. (brownish)
- Add the tomato puree, paste, salt and herbs. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Take it off the burner and let it rest on the counter. For Fries
- You can start making the fries before cooking the meat, so they will be ready almost at the same time.
- Peel and chop he potatoes into thin and long slices. Place them into the deep frying pot you filled up with the frying oil beforehand. Start heating up the oil afterwards.
- Fry them until they change their color into golden yellow.
- Take them out from the oil and let them rest in a bowl. For Yoghurt Covering
- Melt the butter in a sauce pan and add the paprika on top.
- Heat up until it starts to boil and as soon as it boils take it off the burner.
- Pour the yoghurt into a bowl and stir it with a fork until you get a smooth yoghurt.
- Add the crushed garlic cloves and salt. Mix it thoroughly. For Serving
- Place the fries at the bottom of a large bowl.
- Pour the yoghurt covering on top the fries.
- Pour the meat and its sauce onto the yoghurt.
- Finally pour the melted butter on top.
