Instructions
- Place the sugar, flour and starch in a large pot.
- Add the milk slowly while stirring. Then turn on the burner and start cooking. (medium heat)
- Keep stirring for a couple of minutes, then add the egg yolk and keep stirring.
- When it starts to boil, cook for 5 more minutes and leave it on the counter to cool down. (You can also transfer it to another container so that it cools down faster.)
- When it cools down(usually in 15-20 minutes), add the whipped cream powder, cold milk and vanilla sugar on top.
- Then whip it with the electric whisk for 5 minutes.
- Wrap up the mixture and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes to harden.
- Then take the cream out. Prepare your dessert cups or water glasses, whichever container you wish.
- Cut the lady fingers in half. Pour the coffee in a large plate. Dip the ladyfingers into the coffee one by one.
- Dip each face only a second, try to be quick or they will disintegrate.
- Place 2 dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of each cup.
- Then pour half a scoop of the cream in each cup. Then place 2 more ladyfingers on top of the cream.
- You can leave it like this or repeat the same process one more time if you have extra ingredients left.
- Sprinkle one teaspoon of cocoa powder on top of each cup with the help of a small colander.
- Wray up the cups and leave them in the fridge at least for an hour before serving them.
- Bon appetit!
