Preparing the Syrup
- Pour the orange juice and granulated sugar into a pot. Heat them up until the mixture boils. Let it boil for 10 minutes while you keep stirring occasionally.
- Place the pot on the counter to cool down while you start preparing the dough. Making the Dough
- Grate the orange peel.
- Mix the eggs, butter (melted and cooled down), vanillin sugar, baking powder, powdered sugar, orange peel and vegetable oil inside a large bowl.
- Add the flour on top and knead until the dough is uniformly mixed.
- Pinch small pieces from the dough and roll them into ball shapes between your palms.

- Preheat the oven at 180℃ (350℉), do not use the fan mode.
- Bake the cookies in the oven for 20 minutes.

- Dip the warm cookies into the syrup which is cooled down, let each of the cookies to soak the syrup for at least 5 seconds. Don't forget to flip them in the syrup so that every side is soaked uniformly.
- Place them on a serving plate and let them cool down for 10 minutes.
